December’s meeting will feature an ornament workshop, cookies and holiday treats and a gift exchange for those members that signed up to participate in the exchange. Those that did not sign up in advance can still participate by bringing a small wrapped gift.

We had a great time at our 3rd anniversary celebration. As always our members outdid themselves with dishes to pass. Vendors had a variety of things to sell, fibers, teas, ceramics, primitive dolls, garments, jewelry and so much more! Lydia held a finger weaving workshop. Sue held a spinning beaded yarn workshop.

Thanks to all who pitched in to make the day so enjoyable!

We had a lot to discuss at our last meeting, reports on all the activities for the last few months, a vote on meeting date change, and preparation for the November 13th meeting.. our 3rd Anniversary as a guild.
Starting in December, meetings will be held the first Saturday of each month unless there is a conflict with the church where we meet or with a holiday. Members participating in the gift exchange at the December meeting were reminded to work on the gifts for their recipients.

November Anniversary Celebration: We will have workshops, a dish to pass luncheon, brag table, raffles, vendors.

Morning workshop and lunch is for members. Guests and public are welcomed to join us from 1 – 4pm.

The meeting will start at 10am rather than our usual time.

Morning workshop with Lydia will be a finger woven bracelet

Lunch will follow at noon. We always look forward to this as we have some wonderful cooks in our guild.

Vendors will be ready for sales after lunch. Don’t forget to bring cash or checks so you can purchase supplies and gift items for your fiber artist friends and family.

Afternoon workshop with Sue will be Spinning with beads for beaded yarn.

Raffles item donations would be appreciated.

Any questions about what to bring for lunch, workshops or anything else… leave a comment and I’ll respond right away.
