A quick reminder that our meeting in January will be on the 9th as we have moved our meetings to the 2nd Saturday of each month. This next meeting will be our Roc Day celebration. Members are asked to bring a dish to pass so we can share a meal together.

Along with some fun competition with prizes, we will be working on a fiber challenge. At the last meeting members were asked to bring 2 – 4 oz. of fiber to use for blending batts. We forgot to mention that all fiber needs to be washed and initially processed with little or no vegetable matter. We will need members to bring their hand cards or drum carders so we can work on the blends.. Even if you don’t have fiber to bring, you will go home with something you can play with.

For those participating in the spinning competition, please bring empty bobbins and empty drop spindles.

Member dues will be collected in January. We are looking forward to a fun yet educational year for the guild.
