July 2008 meeting reminder…

Due to the holiday weekend, our next meeting will be held on July 12th, the second Saturday of the month instead of the first Saturday.

The guild met on June 7th. 
Members had various projects to share with others.  Judy B provided yummy snacks…
The highlight of the meeting was Trish’s (Amazing Grace Farm) Natural Dyeing presentation. Below are some photos of her work.  Thanks to all who contributed to this meeting.

May meeting notes….

Guild members again had a chance to explore small and off-loom weaving.  Those learning how to spin were able to get some hands on tips on spinning techniques. 
On display were several looms, weaving samples, spindles, Sue’s weaving project book , and more. 
We welcomed 2 new members to the guild.
